Position: Credit Collector and Administrator (Afternoon shift)

We will like you if you have:

  • Strong communication skills (writing and speaking);
  • Fluency in English (a second European language is advantage);
  • Adaptation to working in afternoon shift is required due to different time zones;
  • University/college degree or other education in Finance or Accounting is a plus;
  • Good computer and typing skills are required;
  • Analytical thinking and good problem-solving skills are required;
  • Creative approach and ability to work both independently and in team situations;
  • Ability to work in a high pressure high intensity environment where numerous requests are being requested simultaneously;
  • Ability to prioritize tasks;
  • Clear criminal records are required, request for certificate will be processed by the company.

Scope:

  • Finance / Accounting / Controlling: Credit
  • Finance / Accounting / Controlling: Credit Collector and Administrator

How your typical day would go:

  • Managing a portfolio of customers to maximize cash collection;
  • Conduct pre collection call as well as follow outstanding balance;
  • Ensuring overdue invoices are collected with minimal delay;
  • Collection is performed via phone and emails;
  • Follow incoming payments and provide Accounts Receivables sufficient information for cash application;
  • Handle held orders;
  • Administrational duties include record keeping, archiving, reporting;
  • Resolving customer queries;
  • Liaise with Location/Sales contacts to resolve commercial discrepancy and or credit problems;
  • Help to promote a culture of continuous improvement;
  • Escalating problems to Credit Manager;
  • Assure compliance to Arconic’s control objectives.
