Position: Senior Payroll Specialist & T&E Supervisor

We will like you if you have:

  • University or college degree
  • High level of interpersonal skills including demonstrable customer focus and the ability to provide remote support to customers at all levels within the company
  • The ability to work accurately with a strong and developed attention to details
  • Administrative oriented with outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Time management skills and the ability to prioritize individual workload within set payroll processing timescales
  • Working knowledge of HR and payroll administration, including a high volume of accurate database entry and reporting using a computerized HR and payroll system
  • Flexibility and adaptability are mandatory for this role
  • High level of English language knowledge
  • Supervisor/team leader experience

How your typical day would go:

  • Act as local supervisor for the T&E department including people management, organizing tasks related to team set up and support for its daily work
  • Help update and improve T&E team policies and processes, support and act as a backup to the T&E lead specialists
  • Responsible for receiving payroll related ticket requests from Arconic US and processing according to requirements/training
  • Responsible for processing timesheets and other data to payroll, correction forms and submit for processing, such as retro payment and special pays. Perform payroll reconciliation, calculate retro pay adjustments
  • Work by US pay schedules (weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly and monthly)
  • Participates in the design and operation of the employer fringe benefit system (non-cash benefit module called Cafeteria, part of the HU payroll system) and in the maintenance of the software database
  • Manage the yearly Cafeteria administration for Szekesfehervar based employees, and new starters upon joining the company
  • Perform ASAT audit testing as per the internal Arconic requirements
  • Maintains a high customer focused approach
