How your typical day would go:

  • Process all types of invoices and financial documents timely and accurately.
  • Set invoices up for payment. Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, credit memos or other authorized requests for payment related to PO, NON-PO and/or freight and other charges. Ensure potential duplicate payments are prevented.
  • Handle urgent inquiries from the colleagues and/or customers. Provide assistance as required for month-end closing activities.
  • Work in accordance with compliance requirements and recognize possible compliance failures.
  • Provide assistance in investigation and resolution of discrepancies within the accounting and payment process.
  • Reconcile Accounts Payable transactions like monthly tax or intercompany account reconciliation.
  • Support transition activities.
  • Review the end to end process and find opportunities for improvements and increase efficiency of services.
  • Perform any tasks which may be needed for the department’s work and is not in contradiction with the laws and the company policies and regulations.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Secondary certificate, University or College degree is an advantage.
  • 1 – 2 years’ experience working in: invoice entry, payments, holds/controls, closing processes is an advantage.
